Como sabéis, además de Periodismo estudié Diseño de Moda (en La Escuela de Diseño), así que, en cuanto puedo, agarro papel de patrón, un tejido maravilloso, echo a volar la imaginación y... voilá! Esta es mi última creación. Una capa en color camel con una espalda que, personalmente y salvando las distancias, me recuerda a Cristóbal Balenciaga. 

 

As you already know, I've studied Fashion Design and not only Journalism so, whenever I can, I grab some pattern paper, a gorgeous fabric, and with my imagination... voilá! Here you have my last creation. A tan cape with a back that, personally and unparalleled, reminds me of Cristobal Balenciaga.

El diseño y el patrón son míos, pero el resultado también se debe a mi madre, que ha sido quien ha cogido la aguja (yo no dispongo de todo el tiempo que me gustaría...). Por cierto, si vivís en Valladolid y os entra el gusanillo por la confección y por crearos vuestras propias prendas, os recomiendo la Academia Ares, a la que va mi madre. La profesora es encantadora y con muchos años de experiencia al dedal.

I've made the design and the patter but, honestly, the final result is also doe to my mum, who has sewed it (I have no time..!!).

Se trataba del vestido negro con la espalda al aire que está inspirado en los trajes de neopreno. ¡¡Me hizo muchísima ilusión!!

There are two spanish websites that have published a beautiful post about my designs: Tendencias Moda & Tienda Ropa (click to check them out). They talk about my last runway show and their favourite designs (such as the sheer blouse in vanilla colour with orange handmade petals). Also, I sent them some pictures of the next items I'll be selling online in my online store at Asos Marketplace.

Tienda Ropa ha publicado otro post sobre mis diseños. Contactaron conmigo porque les gustaron mucho mis creaciones y en este atículo podéis ver sus impresiones sobre las que tengo ya a la venta online en Asos (dicen que lo que más les gusta es la blusa de gasa con pétalos), además de un adelanto que les he proporcionado con piezas que pondré a la venta más adelante. HEELS MAGAZINE

Y por último pero no menos importante, he colaborado en un editorial de moda con mis diseños, algo que me hace una especial ilusión porque es mi primer photoshoot para una revista. Lleva por título "Fin de Fiesta" y lo podéis encontrar en las páginas 28-37. Además, así conocéis una nueva revista online sobre moda que ya desde su primer número apunta alto: Heels Magazine.

Last but not less important, I have collaborated in a fashion editorial with my designs, something really exciting because is my first photoshoot for a magazine. It has the title "End of Party" and you can find it on pages 28-37. Moreover, you can check out this new online magazine about fashion that looks gorgeous since its first issue: Heels Magazine.

Las piezas elegidas fueron el vestido color naranja mandarina (dos vestidos en uno), el negro con la espalda al aire, el blanco largo estilo griego, el tricolor con espalda de tul bordado, la blusa de gasa vainilla con pétalos naranjas y los hot shorts en negro. Me encanta la fotografía que abre el editorial con la blusa!

We chose the Tangerine Tango dress (two dresses in one), the backless LBD, the white one in Greek style, the one in three colours with tulle, the sheer blouse with petals and the black hot shorts. I do love the first pictures with the blouse!!

Desde aquí de nuevo agradecer a Pasaje Moda por sus maravillosas fotografías, a Álvaro Herrero y sus espectaculares peinados, al maquillaje de Silvia López que me dejó anonadada y, por supuesto, a la guapísima modelo que supo posar a la perfección en todo momento a pesar del frío, Irene Montero.

The Candy Skirt

Hace ya varios fines de semana, mi novio y yo hicimos una escapada de relax a San Vicente de la Barquera. En estas fotos podéis apreciar lo bonita que queda la falda "Candy Skirt" que estoy vendiendo en mi tienda de Asos. Si os gusta, la he confeccionado en dos colores: verde agua y nude. A mí me encanta en ambos, así que... ¡me he quedado con una de cada!

También llevo unos pendientes preciosos, muy finos, diseñados por Avenio. Se han convertido en unos de mis preferidos! La pulsera es de la misma firma, realizada en cristal y cerámica, muy delicada.

Some weekends ago, my boyfriend and I went to a little village in the North of Spain to have some relax. In these pictures you can see how cute the "Candy Skirt" looks. I'm selling it online in my Asos store. If you like it, I have made it in two colours: aqua green and nude I do love it in both colours, so... I have got a piece of each one!!

I also wear a pair of amazing earrings, really smart. They have been designed by Avenio. They are one of my favourite earrings. The delicate bracelet is from the same brand, and it is made of crystal and ceramic.

Bodas/Bautizos/Comuniones

Como sabéis, estoy redactando artículos para Neomoda. La semana pasada hice un especial de estilismos para Bodas, Bautizos y Comuniones. 

As you many know, I'm writing for Neomoda. Last week I make an special issue about Weddings, Batisms and Communions.

Yo este año tengo nada más que dos bodas, una en mayo y otra en junio. Si vosotros también tenéis alguna, o queréis ver dónde encontrar vestidos de cóctel, aquí tenéis más recomendaciones para eventos de día y, en este otro post, sugerencias para llevar por la noche.

Ahora falta que llegue el buen tiempo para lucir esas sandalias minimalistas sin plataforma delantera, tan elegantes...

In the next post I'll show you the four pairs of shoes I've recently bought at Zara. I'm addicted to its new collection, it is so gorgeous, isn't it?? I'm waiting for good weather to wear my sandals without front platform, so elegant...

He tardado bastante en actualizar el blog, lo siento mucho, pero tengo buenos motivos... =)

Dos vestidos en uno - Two dresses in one!

Aurora Vega ha sido una de las primeras bloggers en adquirir uno de mis diseños, y pronto otra de ellas recibirá el suyo en casa :) ¡Tengo muchas ganas de veros ya con ellos, chicas!

Aurora Vega has been one of the first bloggers that got a Raquel T.G.'s design, and another blogger will receive very soon a dress by myself at her house. I wanna see them on you!! ;)

Además, este viernes hice otro desfile en mi ciudad. Gracias a la fantástica Iliana del blog Vallstreet y al San Agustín, quedó una pasarela espectacular, muy muy larga. Me lo pasé genial a pesar de todo el estrés y los nervios. Pronto pondré el vídeo en la fanpage. De momento, os dejo con dos fotografías del carrusel. Estaban todas guapísimas, con unos peinados increíbles realizados por Galindo Peluqueros!

More news: last Friday I made another runway show in my city. Thanks to the amazing blogger from Vallstreet, I could show my designs on a very long catwalk. I really enjoyed it despite the nerves. I'll post the video very soon on my fanpage. Here you can see two pictures of the carrousel :) The hairstyle was also amazing thanks to Galindo Peluqueros.

Por último, mañana comienzo a colaborar (además de Neomoda) con Ruta 42. Me ofrecieron escribir una columna sobre moda, y ello que me he sumado también! :) Espero que os guste; estará enfocada al mundo de la moda y el social media, os hablaré de aplicaciones interesantes, la moda en redes sociales (campañas, concursos...), algunos recursos para comunicadores de moda, bloggers etc. -> Podéis leer mi primer columna AQUÍ

Tomorrow I'm also going to collaborate with another online Spanish magazine. It's called Ruta42 and I'm gonna talk about fashion and social media, online resources, interesting apps, bloggers, etc.

Wearing the trend: Tangerine Tango

Ya sabéis que, junto a los tonos pastel, el otro color tendencia de esta primavera/verano es el naranja mandarina o Tangerine Tango, un interesante tono naranja-rojizo.

You already know that, apart from pastel colours, the most trendy colour for this Spring/Summer season is a kind of redish orange called Tangerine Tango.

Como veis en estas imágenes, a mí me encanta. Los que visteis mi desfile, sabréis que la chaqueta que llevo puesta es uno de mis diseños, concretamente, el que abría el desfile combinado con un mono nude. Queda estupenda tanto con el nude como con negro, por ejemplo un LBD como el que llevo en la foto... también diseño mío!

As you can see in these pictures, I do love it. If you watched my runway show, you already knew that the jacket I'm wearing on this post is one of my designs, exactily, the one that open the catwalk paired with a nude jumpsuit.It looks amazing with nude but also with black, for example, with an LBD like the one I'm wearing... also made by myself!

Tiene un corte muy limpio, manga francesa, sisa desplazada para potenciar los hombros y un pequeño bolsillo de adorno -en las imágenes lo tapa mi nada escaso pelo ;)-

It has a clean cut, 3/4 sleeve, rounded shoulders and a small pocket as detail -you can't see it on the pictures because of my hair-.

Como complementos, un bolso naranja de Zara que me encanta (de la temporada pasada), mi anillo de Marc by Marc Jacobs y la pulsera de coral natural que compré en mi viaje a Túnez.

As accesories, the orange bag that I do love by Zara (from previous season), my Marc by Marc Jacobs ring and the bracelet in natural pieces of coral that I bought in my travel to Tunisia.

Os enseño dos cositas más (sí, como veis, he desconectado un fin de semana en San Vicente de la Barquera): el abrigo blanco que compré en rebajas, también de Zara, para que veais cómo queda puesto (me encanta su corte minimalista, es genial!) y las vistas desde la terracita de mi apartamento. Relax!

Let me show you two more things: the white coat I bought on Zara sales, so you can see how it looks worn by someone (I absolutely love its minimalistic style), and the views from the terrace of my apartment in the North of Spain (beautiful, aren't they?).
