MET GALA 2013 -Curiosities

 

Yesterday evening, I saw the complete MET Gala. Yes, until the 2 a.m. GTM. One hour before, I predicted the Chanel SS 2013 Couture dress that Diane Kruger would probably wear (I saw it and thought: this dress is made for her!). AND I WAS RIGHT! :) Continue reading to see the best looks and make up, plus the ridiculous phrases that some celebrities said (I think any of them knew about punk, neither Anna Wintour...). BTW, Cara Delevigne was amazing.

Ayer me quedé viendo la Gala del MET. Sí, entera, hasta las dos de la madrugada. Una hora antes, vaticiné el vestido de Chanel SS 2013 Couture que probablemente llevaría Diane Kruger (lo vi y pensé: está hecho para ella!). Y HE ACERTADO! :D Continuad leyendo para ver los mejores looks y maquillajes, y las ridículas frases que dijeron algunas famosas (creo que nadie sabían qué es el punk, ni siquiera Anna Wintour...). Por cierto, Cara Delevigne estaba espectacular.

Current Obsessions

I've never made a "Current Obssesions" list in this blog, so here it is! It's a mix of Spring/summer 2013  trends and current season ones. Enjoy!

Nunca había hecho una lista de "Obsesiones actuales" en mi blog, así que aquí está! Es una mezcla de tendencias que vienen para la próxima primavera/verano de 2013 y algunas de la temporada presente. ¡Disfrutadlas!

/SS 2013/ The mini jacket in metallics at BURBERRY PRORSUM (It would look so amazing in a total black outfit!)

Las chaquetas súper cortas en tejidos metalizados de Burberry Prorsum (esta quedaría espectacular en un look totalmente negro)

/SS 2013/ The oriental touch at PRADA and many other designers (I've already got the perfect oriental dress, so exciting about this trend!)

El toque oriental que se ha visto en Prada y en muchos otros diseñadores (y yo ya tengo el vestido oriental perfecto, así que estoy emocionada por esta tendencia!)

/SS 2013/ The skirts with opening and the Cut-up technique at PREEN. And don't forget python (They'll be so trendy for next Spring)

Mi recorrido FNO

Este año nuestro recorrido de tiendas fue bastante diferente al del año pasado, salvo por Miu Miu y Dior. Llegamos a la calle José Ortega y Gasset sobre las 20:15h, cuando había una cola enorme en Chanel pero bastante poca gente por el resto de las calles (la cosa cambiaría en apenas media hora).

Nosotras empezamos por la tienda de Missoni.

This year, our "fashion tour" was a little bit different, excepting for Dior store. We arrived at José Ortega and Gasset street at 20.15h. At that time, there were a big queue in front of the Chanel store, but the rest of the streets were almost empty (things changed in half an hour).

We started visiting Missoni store.

Estos dos pares de gafas me encantaron!! -This two pair of glasses were to die for!!

Seguimos andando por la Calle Lagasca y nos topamos con Nine West. Me enamoré de las sandalias negras que veis en la imagen inferior y entré a probármelas. Son preciosas, ¿verdad?

Tienen unos zapatos increíbles para esta temporada de otoño/invierno de 2011-2012, al igual que los bolsos.

We continued walking through Lagasca St and then we spotted a Nine West store. We enter to admire those wonderful shoes and bags... and I felt in love with the black sandals that you can see in the picture below. They're amazing, aren't they??

La siguiente parada fue Nine Things. Allí estuvimos tomándonos unos mojitos buenísimos, de lima y de violeta. La dependienta que nos hizo la foto no tenía muy buen pulso que digamos, como podéis ver :)

Me quedé con ganas de ir a la otra tienda para ver a Gala González pinchando, pero nos pillaba muy lejos.. ¿alguien estuvo?

Next stop: Nine Things. We drank there a nice mojito. I wanted to see Gala Gonzalez (as DJ) in the other Nine Things store, but it was too far from us...

Y, a la salida, una foto de nuestros zapatos... De izq. a dcha.: sandalias de charol negro de Mary Paz, mis zapatos peep toe de Miu Miu, y los otros en ante naranja de Zara.

Y por fin llegamos a la tienda que yo estaba buscando: la de Amaya Arzuaga. Es sin duda una de mis diseñadoras preferidas. La llevo viendo varias temporadas en la pasarela de Castilla y León y cada vez me gusta más si cabe...

And then we got to the store I was looking for: the amazing spanish designer Amaya Arzuaga. I've seen her collections in the caltwalk and they're absolutely wonderful. She's one of my favourite designers, undoubtely.

Me encantan sus volúmenes, los tejidos y colores que utiliza.. todo.. es tan tan espectacular!!

I love her, I love her architectural clothing, her fabrics, its colours... so so gorgeous!

Después, nos detuvimos a descansar un rato en un sitio muy acogedor, lleno de vegetación y con tiendas originales y diferentes alrededor. Además, los muebles con tanto encanto que había en el patio también se vendían.

Then we took a relax time in a nice place full of plants and charming furniture (which you can shop if you want to).

Tras esto, fuimos hasta mi querida Miu Miu. Y, en el escaparate, uno de mis trajes preferidos de su última colección. ¡Me encanta!

After that, we reached Miu Miu wonderful store. And, in the showcase, one of my favourite designs of its last show. I do love it!

Aquí un detalle de alguna de las prendas -here a detail of the garments-:

Tonos neutros, tejidos exquisitos y mucho, mucho brillo en los zapatos.

Neutral shades, luxury fabrics and lots of shiny materials in shoes.

En la tienda de Dolce&Gabbanna nos cruzamos con una Marta Sanchez llena de estrellas y los labios muy rojos.. y estos jerséis tan, tan bonitos, en nude y con encaje negro:

En Bottega&Venetta, una dependienta muy simpática nos estuvo enseñando todos los clutch. Uno de mis preferidos es el negro de raso, aunque también tuve en mis manos otro de plata maciza (y cuyo valor ascendía a nada más y nada menos que 6.500€) que era absolutamente increíble... Me dejó tan anonadada que se me olvidó sacarle una foto, aunque podéis verlo aquí. Es el modelo "Oxidized Silver Moire" (mucho más bonito en la realidad que en la imagen, por cierto).

In Bottega&Venetta store, a very nice saleswoman showed us all its clutch. One of my fav ones is the one in black satin fabric that you can see in the picture below, but I also loved the one in silver (6.500€) that was absolutely breath-taking... you can see it here.

Y, finalmente, entramos en la imprescindible de Dior :) Nada más entrar, me dirigí hacia el bolso que veis bajo estas líneas... Tipo saquito, en una piel suavísima y con perlas en la cadena: 900€. Y me he enamorado de él, pero me da a mí que va a ser un amor imposible...

And, finally, we enter the Dior store =) Just after passing the door, I go directly to the bag you can see in this pic... A cute shape, in a soft leather and with pearls in its chain. 900€. A bad romance...

También tenían zapatos espectaculares, entre los que destaco estas sandalias en nude y dorado.

There were also gorgeous shoes, such as the sandals you can see here in nude and gold.

Y allí nos encontramos con una guapísima Mar Saura. Estuvimos hablando un buen rato con ella (es encantadora!!) y nos contó que la ropa que llevaba era de Maje. Una falda y una camiseta preciosas, que podéis apreciar mejor en la imagen inferior. Y, si os han gustado, podéis ir a comprarlas aquí.

And there we met the beautiful spanish actress Mar Saura. We talked to her (she's so nice!!) and she told us that the clothing she wore were from Maje. A gorgeous skirt and shirt that you can see better in the picture from the online store. If you like them, you can buy them here.
